Thank you for your interest in Freedom House, Inc. and welcome to our website. I am extremely proud to be associated with our staff, boards, and funding agencies, and the community members and businesses who help support our mission to help those who are victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Please take a few moments to browse the various pages of our site. I hope you will find it a user-friendly place where you can gather information for yourself and others, or to aid you in ways in which you may volunteer or contribute to helping others. Our services are free and confidential; and, while we have a safe shelter for women and their children, we also provide many other services that do not require that someone be a shelter client. Those include a 24-hour helpline/hotline, information and referral, medical and legal assistance at hospitals and in court, individual and group counseling, child advocacy, and individual and family therapy. Specially trained staff also makes informational or educational presentations and conducts training to young children, teens or professional groups.

If you are a victim of any type of abuse; verbal, physical, emotional, financial; and no matter what your financial or living circumstances, please do not suffer alone. Please let us help you get the assistance you need to be safe from abuse.
