Since 1985, Freedom House has staffed and operated an Outreach Office in Henry County, thanks to the long-standing generosity of Kewanee Hospital. Susan serves as its manager and also as a legal advocate. For more information about its location, please call (800) 474-6031 or (309) 852-4008.

The first Henry County Outreach Office was opened in Kewanee in 1985, also in collaboration with Kewanee Hospital. The location of this site was kept secret until it was moved to a safe and secure office within the hospital. From there, the outreach office was moved to a larger space at Arrow Towers South until its most recent move.

The current outreach office features an office area for Susan; an enclosed counseling/office space for Dr. Rebekah Dees-McMahon, therapist; a room to hold support groups; and a pantry area.

Support groups for survivors of domestic violence are offered at the Freedom House Outreach Office in Kewanee as well. For information, call Susan at (309) 852-4008.
